The Rating

The second of New Line's brand new 2005 Nightmare on Elm Street series. When a group of female outcasts at Hemingway High are at their wit's end from being tortured at school, they are determined to get back at all the cheerleaders, jocks, and preps of the school at all costs.

So, the group, known as the Petticoat Mafia, resurrects Freddy hoping for revenge. Holding his glove for ransom, they use Krueger to do their bidding, and finally gain the upperhand on the rest of the school.

The only problem is, you can't control that which is uncontrollable, and all hell breaks loose.

Matt: 2/10, Coming off a decent showing with the first book, I had high hopes for this one, and as always, I was totally let down. This book is nothing like 'Suffer The Children' was, in fact it's not even close. Freddy is barely a part of it until mid-way through the book, and it scaringly reminds me of 'Freddy's Revenge' in various times throughout the novel. The author definitely needed to do her homework before writing this. I mean, come on, Springwood, California??? Enough said. It had potential, but the beginning and the end didn't make up for its overall sucky quality.

Total Score: 2 out of 10.
Average Score: 2.
Percentage Score: 20 percent.
